( Marvel Confirms 2 MCU Shows ) The initial 2025 slate for the Marvel Cinematic Universe TV line-up has been revealed as Marvel Studios announces the release windows for two shows, Daredevil: Born Again and Ironheart. Even though few Marvel movies are releasing in 2024, Marvel Studios has been rolling out more shows this year on Disney+. While starting with Echo, Disney+ is just about to wrap up X-Men ’97 season 1 this week with their finale.
As the Upfronts are currently happening, Disney was present at the popular TV event, as they included big updates for Marvel Studios. It was announced that the Daredevil: Born Again TV show is eying a premiere in March 2025, while the Ironheart series is also set to arrive next year. In an interview with TVLine, Charlie Cox confirmed that they have filmed nine episodes for Daredevil: Born Again season 1. During the presentations for both Daredevil: Born Again and Ironheart, new logos were revealed, which can be seen below:

Marvel Studios Is Prioritizing Quality Over Quantity, Especially Their TV Shows.
As of right now, the strategy is to eye two to three movies and shows per year, allowing productions to have proper time to finish work before they head out for releases.
Since Bob Iger returned as Disney’s CEO, it has been a goal for the studio to prioritize quality over quantity, which includes the MCU brand. Iger announced last week that they are reducing MCU movies and TV show releases going forward. As of right now, the strategy is to eye two to three movies and shows per year, allowing productions to have proper time to finish work before they head out for releases.
With the latest announcement, they are already proving their new commitment with Daredevil: Born Again and the Ironheart series being two (out of possible three) shows to drop on Disney+ in 2025. Whether or not they will have a third MCU show premiering in 2025 remains to be seen, as several Marvel animated shows could be coming out next year. Iger never specified if there can only be two to three live-action/animated shows per year or if each medium gets the allotted slot on the release schedule.

Time will tell how Disney’s new strategy does for the MCU TV shows, as well as their movies in general. Given the ups and downs they have faced over the last few years, this should be able to help The Multiverse Saga get back on track.
